Natural State Bookkeeping was founded to give Arkansas small business owners the clear, accurate books that larger companies take for granted.
Our Story
Natural State Bookkeeping was founded by Breanna Stanek in 2025, shortly after she completed her B.S. in Accounting. But the accounting degree wasn't the beginning of her bookkeeping story — it was the formalization of it.
For five years before founding the practice, Breanna worked in bookkeeping roles supporting real organizations, including finance operations for Friendship Community Care. That experience taught her something a textbook alone can't: small business owners don't need more financial jargon. They need someone who will keep their books accurate, explain what the numbers mean, and answer the phone.
The name 'Natural State Bookkeeping' is a nod to Arkansas — the Natural State — and to the idea that good bookkeeping should feel exactly that: natural. Not a source of dread, not a monthly scramble, just a steady, reliable part of running a business.
